Through an easy-to-use control panel with a membrane keyboard or touchscreen display, the operator can constantly overview the work in progress, set and correct batch parameters, and receive diagnostic information.
The length of the cable is checked by an encoder assembled on conveyor belts.

Samec cut machine SP40
SP40 is designed to cut cables, tubes, jackets and flat cables.
The machine counts the batch and measures the cutting length.Through an easy-to-use control panel with a membrane keyboard or touchscreen display,
the operator can constantly overview the work in progress, set and correct batch parameters, and receive diagnostic information.

Cables are fed through two motorized conveyors and an optional, external encoder may be installed to improve
cable cutting efficiency. SP40 is equipped for inline processing with other Samec machines, including motorized cable dereelers, prefeeder and wire markers.
The machines are linked by interface connectors, allowing signal exchange between machines and centralized management of emergencies.
Manufactured using high quality methods and materials, the machine guarantees long term durability.
The case is constructed in welded metal and all mechanical details are treated to prevent environmental oxidation.
The mechanical movement components are assembled on bearings and the sliding shafts are ground, hardened and mounted on bushings.
Electronic parts are produced with reliability and functionality in mind, using high integration components,
